The Junction’s Bandicoot Park Now Open!

SIG Group is thrilled to announce that the construction of The Junction’s Bandicoot Park has been completed! This expansive, green oasis will be an amazing addition to our boutique development at Botanic Ridge in Melbourne’s southeast.

Delivered by the incredibly talented, multi-award winning Flemings Landscapes, Bandicoot Park was specially designed to encourage optimal community engagement. The reserve is sure to be  a go-to place for locals to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and spend some quality time outdoors with loved ones. This reserve spans almost one hectare, allowing locals to enjoy an array of outdoor activities from ball sports and Frisbee to stretching their legs and going on a run around this spacious environment. Children will also be able to make the most of the reserve’s fun-filled play area consisting of swings, see-saw, sandpits and an exhilarating multidimensional play structure incorporating tree logs and rocks..

Curated to serve as a green focal point, the park reserve is surrounded by an abundance of native trees such as Kurrajong, Spotted Gum, red flowering Yellow Gum, and large Bangalay trees. Locals will be able to rest, relax and bask in the warmth that spring has to offer thanks to the naturally-shaded areas, green open spaces and intersecting pathways that venture into greenery with timber seats trailing down the path.

As construction comes to an end, the park reserve is now ready for new residents of The Junction to move into their homes and enjoy the brand new communal haven. To mark the occasion, we recently hosted The Junction’s Moonlight Cinema event, when buyers and families in the area took to the park and enjoyed a delicious street food offering from Smokey Boiz food truck, tucked into complimentary sweet treats like gelato and popcorn, and enjoyed the latest release Space Jam under the stars. We look forward to many more community events to come.
