SIG Group is excited to announce that construction of The Junction’s Park Reserve has now commenced! Part of our boutique development at Botanic Ridge in Melbourne’s southeast, this lush oasis will serve as a green focal point, a place for future residents to relax, exercise, picnic and play.
Once complete, the Park Reserve will be a place locals can enjoy the outdoors. There will be an area in the centre of the reserve incorporating natural play like tree logs and rocks, as well as an incredible play structure that children will enjoy immensely. The design has been carefully curated to include swings, a sandpit and plenty of shaded areas for little ones of all ages.
Intersecting pathways will meander through the greenery, with timber seats along the way providing opportunities to rest, relax, and absorb the serenity. There will also be plenty of green open space for kicking a ball or throwing a Frisbee, with enough lush grass for our entire community at The Junction to enjoy.
Our team has worked hard to ensure many mature trees surrounding the park are kept, including two large Bangalay trees, meaning the area will look established and lush. These trees will also provide much needed natural shade within the play area.
At this stage, we anticipate construction will be complete by the end of this year. That means the park should be ready before the first residents of The Junction move into their brand new homes!
